Years back, Guardian only offered transport solutions through specific routes – from the Capital (Nairobi) to Nakuru, Kericho, Kisumu, Mbale, and Kakamega.

As the agency grew, they extended to other towns such Kisii, Ugunja, Maseno, Nyamira, Narok, Mbale, Sirare, Sotik, Bumala, Busia, Siaya, Rongo, Keroka, Awendo, Homabay, and Oyugis.

Guardian Coach Online Booking Explained in Simple Steps

Booking a seat on the Guardian is easy. Here are the steps you should follow:

  • Head to their official website https://theguardian.co.ke
  • Enter where you would like to travel from and where to.
  • Choose a date you want the journey scheduled.
  • Click Search.
  • Click Book Seat, and choose your preferred seat.
  • Next, enter passenger details (Full Name, Telephone, ID/Passport, and Nationality).
  • Click Proceed to Payment.
  • Go to the Mpesa menu, then Pay Bill, Enter 308900 as the Business number, enter TICKET as the account number enter the amount, and then provide your Mpesa PIN for verification.
  • Wait for a confirmation message from Mpesa then provide the transaction ID and submit the receipt for booking. That’s it you’ve just booked yourself a seat!

You don’t necessarily have to be close to your computer to search and book a ticket and pay.

It’s even easier to use your smartphone to do the booking via the Guardian Angel mobile app, which is available for download to Android phones.

Currently, there is only one way you can book a seat online on the Guardian Angel Coaches, and that is via Mpesa.

We are hoping that the Company will include consider other options soon. Doing so will let people have multiple payment options when booking online.

How Many Passengers Does the Guardian Carry?

The Royal Day bus will carry up to 45 passengers, the luxury bus will carry 49 passengers maximum and the van will up to 11 passengers.

The Guardian has invested much of its capital in Scania buses, which are known for being strong with their bodies locally, assembled at Master Fabricator.

The Guardian Angel buses are fitted with 2 by 2 seats with enough legroom for each passenger to stretch freely whenever necessary.

With comfort assured, passengers can seat calmly as they travel within the Kenyan boundaries and beyond to neighboring countries like Tanzania and Uganda.
